Simulación mediante CDF de una chimenea solar inclinada sobre la cubierta

In recent years, energy consumption from electrical devices to foster air movement in regions with warm climates has risen, the resulting negative impact on environment. The purpose of this paper is evaluate performance a solar chimney used induce natural ventilation closed space, under weather conditions hot humid Mexican climate. For purpose, CFD simulations were run using RNG k- ɛ turbulence model and DO radiation model, considering only convection phenomena. was evaluated, comparing results experimental measurements, analysis which showed good match. Temperatures up 46.5%°C within chimney, 77.1°C absorption plate, obtained, that allow verifying influence heat discharge phenomenon by flotation chimney.
